KONG Returns Memorial Day Weekend Reincarnated Classic to Debut Memorial Day Weekend

Last updated: May 25, 2017

If you’re down the Wildwood shore this upcoming Memorial Day weekend (and really, where else would you be?), make sure to check out the hot new ride at Morey’s Piers — KONG! Originally from the 1970s, KONG has returned — reincarnated and re-imagined! You’ll find KONG sporting his “I Love Wildwood” t-shirt on Surfside Pier, located at 25th Street and the Boardwalk in North Wildwood (right across from Gateway 26).

The Return of KONG

Check out this short video highlighting some of the work involved in creating KONG.

KONG & Co.

Opening along with the new KONG ride is a brand-spanking new retail space, KONG & Co. This 3000 foot attraction offers KONG and Morey’s Piers paraphernalia, comfortable chairs to relax in, and even mobile device recharging stations! Try one of their chocolate covered bananas while your there, I hear people are going ape over them.

Raging Waters

Along with KONG, Raging Waters Water Park will be opening its gates this Memorial Day weekend. Make sure to bring the kids along for some slippin’ and slidin’ adventures in the over 175,000 gallons of liquid excitement!
