Wildwood Beach Hours Beach hours, lifeguard times, dog beach hours.
Your favorite beaches in the Wildwoods are closed to the public every day from 11 p.m. until 6 a.m. That means no swimming, walking, riding, etc. The police patrol the beaches during these times and they will stop you.
Other than that, you are free to enjoy the Wildwood beach at any time, but lifeguards are on duty only during the summer season and only from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In general, you can expect lifeguards during the weekends from Memorial Day to the 3rd week in June, and daily from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m until Labor Day. If you chose to swim without lifeguards present, you do so at your own risk.
The Wildwood Dog Beach, located at 2801 – 2899 Boardwalk, Wildwood, NJ, is open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Call (609) 522-2444 for more information.
The North Wildwood Dog Beach, located at 2401-2499 Boardwalk, North Wildwood, NJ, has no posted hours at the time of this writing. Note that the fenced in area surrounding the park requires a permit from the City of North Wildwood. Their phone number is 609-522-2030.
