Wildwood to Host “Major Country Music Star”! "Celebrate America Weekend" comes to Wildwood this July 4th!

Country Music in Wildwood, NJThis Fourth of July will be one for the books when a “major country star” performs on the beach in Wildwood, NJ (remember Kenny Chesney?).

Upcoming Events?and the?Boardwalk Entertainment Company,?along with the City of Wildwood, have finalized plans?to?to host a beach concert called?Celebrate America Weekend. The event?will?kick off July 1st with a night festival and conclude on Monday, July 4th with a?beach concert expecting to draw 40,000+ plus concertgoers.

?We are proud to team up with Boardwalk Entertainment Co to produce this fantastic July 4th concert. We have?booked a major legendary country music star that will surely please the crowds this holiday. Our goals include?benefiting the local veterans as well as boosting the local economy,? said the owner of UpcomingEvents.com, Dennis?Gaudenzi.

A portion of the sales will be donated back to Operation First?Response, The Wildwood American Legion, The Wildwood Vietnam Vets, and the Michael Strange Foundation.

Additionally, throughout the weekend, there will be seminars regarding Veteran issues such as homelessness and?suicide. Veterans will be granted half priced admission for the Friday and Saturday events, and will have?opportunities to visit local attractions at a discount.

?The Fourth of July holiday is always a great time to be in the city of Wildwood,? said Commissioner Pete Byron.??This city is home to one of America?s best beaches. This year we will be hosting a spectacular range of?entertainment that is sure to wow everyone.?

The concert on July 4th?will begin at 2:00 PM, and the headliner will perform beginning at 8:00 PM. A break for fireworks will be included.?With the “legendary country performer” taking the stage.

?The goal for Boardwalk Entertainment Co is to provide entertainment for all audiences that is both memorable and?affordable. We strive to create something that is like none other in the area. The Celebrate America Weekend will?really showcase what our company and our partner UpcomingEvents.com has to offer the local communities. A press conference will be held on Tuesday May 17th at 9:30 AM on Lincoln Ave beach, Wildwood. The name of?the headlining country performer as well as details on the entire weekend of festivities will be announced. The press?conference will be broadcast live on the Cat Country 107.3 Morning Show with Joe Kelly.
